How to Get from Toronto Pearson Airport to Delta Hotels Toronto

The last time I visited Toronto for 2 days with my family, we stayed in Delta Hotels Toronto to maximize our time in the city. Because the hotel is at a central Downtown location, getting around popular Toronto spots was easy—CN Tower, Roundhouse Park, Toronto Harbour were all within walking distance.

But the most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Union Station and it is connected through an indoor walkway. This made a huge difference to our trip, as we were able to land in Toronto Pearson Airport, take the UP Express to Union Station, and walked to the hotel to check-in.

Staying at the hotel also made travelling to our next destinations (Niagara and Montréal) using the trains a lot easier.

Here's a walkthrough of what I mean.

Leaving for Niagara via GO Train

Our next destination after Toronto was Niagara. Because we only booked the hotel for a night, we left our bags with the hotel reception, walked to Union Station by passing through the SkyWalk, and took the GO Train to Niagara.

Back to Toronto from Niagara via FlixBus

After spending a day at Niagara, we took a FlixBus down to Union Station, yet again. We went back to the receptionist at Delta Hotels Toronto to pick up our bags that we left with them.

Leaving for Montréal VIA Rail

After picking up our bags from the reception, we went back again to Union Station, this time taking VIA Rail to Montréal.

Over and Out

I was the one who organized the family trip, and based on their feedback, it was a good choice to stay at Delta Hotels Toronto. So many parts of our travel logistics hinged upon Union Station, and the hotel played a huge part in making our trip smoother.

Staying there and being able to leave our bags with the reception meant that we did not have to keep taking taxis with our bags in and out of Union Station to some other hotel as we could just walk, especially when we were transferring from Niagara to Montréal. It definitely saved us time and energy.
